If your pet needs an x-ray as part of their diagnostic process, Above and Beyond Animal Care offers a full-service digital radiography laboratory as well as radiology consulting services. An x-ray, like many other procedures, can be stressful for a pet and their owner, but our experts can answer any questions or concerns you have before the treatment.
A fresh new, top-of-the-line Innovet Select high-frequency digital x-ray machine has been installed at our facility. If necessary, we also have consultant radiologists who can review your pet’s x-rays.
Ultrasound
Ultrasonography is a diagnostic procedure that generates an image study by using ultrasonic waves. This means that we can observe internal images of the patient’s body when performing ultrasonography. Ultrasonography is a painless and non-invasive method of diagnosing and evaluating a wide range of disorders. Ultrasounds can also be used to study the architecture of internal organs, as well as their size, shape, texture, and blood supply.
